Our Newest Addition: The MMA Mobile Dental Trailer!

MMA is very excited to announce the arrival of our latest piece of equipment, our Mobile Dental trailer. It supports up to four dental stations, and is fully equipped with a generator, water, heating, air conditioning, restroom and kitchen facilities. Additional lighting has been installed as well as our exterior logos. It has already proven to be a valuable asset to our ministry. A special thanks to the Touch Coalition for their fund-raising efforts that made this unit possible.

MMA's Tattoo Removal Clinic is held twice a month and offers free removal of tattoos by licensed medical professionals. We currently have eight nurses who are trained to operate the tattoo removal laser.

MMA was founded by Louie Rosado. Since 1972, Louie and his team of professionals have been in 18 countries and have impacted more than one million people with more than $20 Million worth of pharmaceuticals (wholesale). They have been in such places as the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina, Sri Lanka after the 2004 tsunami, Haiti after the earthquake of 2010, Japan following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami and the Philippines after the 2013 typhoon.

In the year 2010 MMA received its Mobile Medical bus and soon after began providing free medical clinics in churches, public parks and other facilities throughout the Southern California region. The success of these clinics was tremendous, providing many thousands of individuals with medical, dental and optical care. Since then, we have added our optical van and a dental trailer to our fleet to better serve the under-served!

Medical Mission Adventures is a fully licensed mobile medical clinic, and is registered as a first responder with FEMA, the State of California and the County of Los Angeles in the event of a natural disaster.

Perhaps the most amazing part of MMA is that Louie accomplishes all of this while working full-time as a licensed respiratory therapist at Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, California.
